I actually slipped off a rock once I made it to the top. You will need to use these ropes to maneuver down large rocks and boulders. Departing from the trailhead off of 93, visitors can park their rigs in a free parking area and hit the trailhead. No obstacles. Often times Nevada hot springs are located in remote areas. The hike at Gold Strike Canyon Hot Springs, also known as the Nevada Hot Springs, follows a canyon to the Colorado River just downstream from Hoover Dam. The total distance on the out-and-back hike to the pools is five miles with feet of elevation gain on the return.

Hiked this trail? Nevada Hot Springs The canyon proceeds with a little waterfall, pool and cascade, the recommended route being down the stone slab on the right side, rope-assisted, but climbing directly down the streamway seems easier.
At the end of the offramp, turn right and then an immediate left. The only thing that I didn't like very much was how many people were there but when I found a nice spot Definitely going back again next summer, it was well worth the trip and a lot of fun.
