I would go with the Gleaner since it already has heads with it and is closer to your farm than the deere and has lower hours. As far as being the only one that runs gleaner in the ground, well their must be others cause gleaner sure ain't first in sales. The Gleaner also has new features. Reason for simple repairs is because the design is simple, uncomplicated. A isn't hard to work on and you have to be doing something you shouldn't be to break out teeth on the final drives. One thing that helps is to pack them in grease. Go with the resale value. Other than full time custom harvesters I have as many hours running or keeping a combine in a field as anyone. Once we had our just stop dead in it's tracks in the field, found out is was the teeth in the coupler that connects the final drive to the transmission out put shaft, it was'nt too bad of a fix price wise, and the replacement was quick once parts were in hand.
